R-5660-T series of Thick Mica Plate are rigid mica plates with thickness over 5mm. They are mica laminates designed for providing outstanding resistant to high voltage and to high temperature.
R-5660-T series of Thick Mica Plate can still maintain its original performance when used under high temperature conditions. This product is widely used in cylindrical resistance heaters, thermal insulation in circuit breakers, chemical-engineering and electric appliances, electric sterilized cabinet, and in steel or metallurgy industry for intermediate frequency furnace, arc furnace, etc..
Types
According to mica paper, R-5660-T series of Rigid Mica Plate can be divided into:
R-5660-T1 Muscovite thick mica plate;
R-5660-T3 Phlogopite thick mica plate.
Availability
Thickness: 5mm, 10mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, …… 100mm.
Size: Sheets of 1000 x 600 mm, 1000 x 1200 mm, 1000 x 2400mm(The sheet size can be adjusted by cutting).
Properties
Relative to general insulation material, the prominent advantages of the thick mica plate are:
Superior heat insulation performance, fire-resistance up to temperature of 500-750℃, low thermal conductivity;
Oil and corrosion-proof, environmental protection and non-toxic, as the alternatives of asbestos;
High flexural strength. It can be processed by lathe, milling machine, drilling machine into various shaped piece without layer separating.
Packaging
One pack is 50kg in general. The product is sealed usually with plastic film and packed in carton. The fumigation-free pallet shall be used when exporting. Each pallet contains<1000kg or protected by metal drum.
Storage
Stored in dry and moisture-proof indoor place at room temperature, there is no service life limit.
